![]() ![]() I believe that every restaurant, whether a little local place or a five star restaurant can have an off day, so I will go back to HW's. These thing happen, of course, but we were not informed of this until we actually attempted to order the items then scrambled to choose a replacement. I should also note that they were out of an appetizer and a wine that were both listed on the "specials" menu. The food came out at all different times and was often delivered to the wrong table. The wait staff seemed "in the weeds" throughout our entire meal. The most noteable issue with the whole meal was that more then 50% of the guests received the wrong side dish. They thought that the burgers were cooked well but that the rolls were "hard as a rock". Two other people at my table had burgers. I ordered seared tuna which was decent, but very cold. A few specials, seafood, burgers and wraps. Members of our party ended up going to the bar to get drinks. Everyone ordered drinks from the waitress and she disappeared. When the whole party arrived we were seated. We got a drink from the bar and took in the great water views. My family and I arrived a few minutes early. It has a very cool, old school fisherman's wharf kinda feel. It was a gorgeous day and the joint was jumping. ![]() Our reservation was for 25 people at 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon. After reading the reviews I was very excited for the upcoming event. Having never been there before, I of course turned to TA for a little insider info. Recently friends of ours invited us to a celebratory dinner at Harpoon Willy's. ![]()
